I don't even KNOW what time of day it's meant to be in this. Make it up. I guess it makes more sense to say afternoon since I don't know why they'd be flying kites at the break of dawn lolol. Even though it's probably not very unusual if they happen to be early-wakers. And Layton wouldn't be all "ZZZZ" while drinking tea if it was morning, right? D:IDK.
There should be more sense of movement in this picture since there's a strong wind. But I only realise this now. Way to go, Amanda.
Oh yeah and this is a 3 month late birthday present for my little sister ahaha.

We are both so gay for the Professor Layton games, I swear to god. She doesn't have a deviantART account so I can't link her, sadly.
You know in the original sketch for this picture, I had Layton watching Luke and Flora flying their kites, but he was standing up and watching from behind a tree. I didn't go with that design because he looked like a paedophile. THE END.

Au contraire; I think Flora looks beautiful and even after staring at her for two minutes I still can't figure out how you drew her "wrong".

And I have solved your time of day dilemma... when I first looked at it, I was thinking that it was in the evening, like maybe 7:00 or something? Perhaps like a day or so after they solved this big huge mystery and desperately needed some R&R.
