Description This is a little animation I did of a cross fox running... without the background, which I'm working on. Eventually I'd like to clean up the fox a bit more... since he/she is still a bit too jerky for me.

Here is the updated animation with background: [link]

If you would like to see all the different images that went into this run-cycle and would like to use as reference to your own running animation or drawing, here it is [link]

This is terrific! Very natural, slightly elastic motion. I like the wave of energy that runs through the tail, and the way the head and neck pushes through the stride. So cool!

thanks. I've been working on a dog animation where it starts from lying down and transitions into a run. :3 This one was a practice for that... but, since I was pleased with how it turned out, I wanted to share that.

This amazes me, probably the best thing is that you can maintain consistency with the frames, and keep it very anatomically correct. It's also very smooth.

Very nicely done!
I really like the anatomy, and how you made the whole body move realistically.

thank you, I'm quite pleased with it, even though I do want to smooth it out some more, but it is nice where it is now.

Wow this is realy nice. Unlike a lot of animators I have seen, you make the whole body move. Some just move the legs so it looks realy unatural.

thank you. Yeah, it is easier to just move the legs, but that is not accurate. I'm still working on the overall flow, but, I am pleased with how it turned out.
