Yes, you can drink water if they fit well. Just be careful they don't fall off and get swallowed. Straws are great to get around that problem.
I don't suggest any other drinks, though, due to possible staining.
That means no fake blood, red wine, or tomato juice.

It's not too hard. Just find a seller on the web.

What exactly do you use to make these fangs stick to your own teeth? Some how I think I missed that part.

Did I not say? Since you cast them against the shape of your teeth they will have a reverse mold of your teeth inside them. This fits right onto your teeth like a glove. If molded right they should stay on no problem.

Ah. You see I plan on making them for a convention I am going to. I am just worried about them coming out that's all.

If you have a good mold of your teeth to work on you should have no problems. I wore mine a whole lot during Halloween. I could talk and drink water with little discomfort. No colored liquids or food though.
If you do make them and find they are loose, just mix up a little more of the acrylic into a little ball, drop it in the tooth cavity, and mash it back onto the teeth mold (with the separator on the mold first). If that doesn't work, you could do the same thing but fit it to your mouth directly. This is similar to how you would fit commercial fangs.

Wow, it looks so simple. The tools are a far reach, but still, It'd be worth the effect :} Good job!

Thanks. Maybe after I refine my techniques (and pick up some tips from my dentist friend lol) I'll think about selling next year.

I know one thing I learned from doing it is take the teeth out of the molds when they aren't fully set up because they tend to stick some times. Just be careful it's not too wet. Dentist plaster is always better then plaster of pairs and another plaster. Because it's always stronger, learned that the hard way. Make sure they ask you well in advance because people were asking me right up to the day before Halloween and I had to tell them I couldn't do it it takes at least a day to set up. I'll try to pick my brain to see if there is any more advice i can give you. I remember I did a tutorial many years ago on my site but I never added pictures to it. I might dive into it and see if there is anything that might help.

Take the plaster cast out of the mold a little early? Or the fangs? I haven't had many problems removing plaster from the molds.
Thank you for the advice. I'll keep it in mind if/when I make any more.

I only had the fangs get stuck once, and that was because I forgot to paint a separating agent on the teeth. Whoops.
