**Might take a moment to load...**Part Two has arrived! There's one more after this, which I'll hopefully get together soon.
This is just about backgrounds. I really should've picked a different picture to do a background walkthrough, since I do grassy scenes more often than deserty ones, but what can ya do! Hopefully this is somewhat helpful anyway.
Let me know if you have any questions or if something is unclear! And please forgive spelling errors if there are any.
Oh, and this is still done with Corel Painter 8 and a wacom tablet.

Thanks muchly again for this tutorial. I'm having problems with grass - I don't want to use the photoshop brush, but I was wondering how you do your wonderful plains of grass? If there's no time to do a detail explaination on it, don't worry, but do you have any tips? Thanks!

Painter X prolly has fewer bugs, but if Painter 8's all you can find, it's a good program.
