SO I've been contemplating joining this OCT for months. On one hand, it looks like TONS of fun and a bunch of friends and mutuals are involved, but on the other hand exams are coming up and I don't want this to get in the way. Then something weird happened.
I had a dream where Wolfie, Bertie and W61 (Whitehot Pot's character) were exploring a big underground temple/maze thing in a desert. A labyrinth, if you will. Then, when I wake up, I see :dalUPISVUIPES: posted a video about the Labrynth OCT. I guess it's a sign! XP
For those of you who recognize this character, well done! XD I've clearly made some huge changes to his design and my artstyle.

Nicknames: Bertie, "fedora pony" (usually goes by Bertie. Wolfie calls him fedora pony to mock him.)
Species: Terran pegasus, can turn into a creeper dragon
Age: 18
Height: 180cm (pegasus) / 150cm (dragon)
Weight: 200kg (pegasus) / 1000kg (dragon)

Reason for entering
Bertie is friends with two "immortals", Lucy Herobrina (Wolfie) who is a time traveler and W61 who is a reaper (both of them can technically be killed, but can't age). Wolfie takes him on travels with her, but Bertie knows he doesn't come on all of her adventures and knows that unlike her he will eventually die and won't get to witness all the amazing things his immortal friends have seen and will see. He also hopes that by being immortal his dragon transformations will stop.

History
Bertie was born into a long line of messengers. The pegasus species are always trying to prove themselves to the other demi-creatures, and as such Bertie was brought up with an emphasis on traditional values and respectful behaviour. However, Bertie is incredibly clumsy and accident prone, and has been responsible for many destroyed houses. He is constantly apologising and trying to fix the things he wrecks, which more often than not leads to more damage.
One day, he was caught eating apples from a witch's orchard. Spooked, he reared up and attempted to fly away, however he crashed into one of the trees. Scrambling in a panic, his metal horseshoes ended up sparking, causing a fire that, on a dry and windy day, set alight to almost the whole orchard. The witch was furious, and placed a cruel curse on Bertie to mock his destructive tendencies. Now, Bertie will sometimes transform into a creeper dragon, a monstrous lizard hellbent on causing as much damage as possible, both physical and emotional. The witch hoped the rude behaviour he would exhibit in this form would cause him to lose his job and never have any friends, however she didn't account for creatures like Wolfie, who revel in that kind of destructive chaos...
Wolfie befriended Bertie after they met at a party. She was intrigued by his abilities, and he was intrigued by her promise of adventure. Now, he regularly joins her in her travels through time and reality, witnessing many exciting things not meant for creatures of the third dimension...
Personality
Bertie is, first and foremost, incredibly skittish. In his attempts to be respectful he apologises a lot and tries overly hard to write his wrongs, usually digging himself deeper and getting into more trouble, even if he wasn't in any trouble to begin with. Despite his efforts he is NOT good with girls, leading to the "fedora pony" nickname. Thankfully he's more 'Whiteknight' than 'Nice Guy', as he was brought up in Terran pegasus society to be incredibly respectful and 'gentlemanly'. These traits can cause him to come across as annoying, but he only ever has good intentions. He is selfless and always puts others before himself.
In dragon form however, his personality is the complete opposite. He is rude, selfish, insulting, and disrespectful. He's also dumb and lazy, a stark contrast to the hard working young pegasus that once stood in his place.

Abilities
Flight
As a pegasus, Bertie's wings and hollow bones allow him to fly. He's quite good at flying long distance, but not so well at landing or tight manoeuvres.
Lockpicking magic
Bertie can pick almost any lock. Nothing magically enchanted like the locks in the labyrinth. He mostly uses this to get into tombs while exploring with Wolfie. (This ability is basically void in the labyrinth, but relevant to his audition).
Dragon transformation
When he was 14, Bertie was cursed by a witch for accidentally destroying her orchard. Sometimes, involuntarily, he turns into a dragon. He has no control over this transformation and his personality completely changes. He's basically a different person, incredibly rude and destructive. Basically a Jekyll/Hyde situation. In dragon form he can breathe fire and survive explosions (although he will still be in pieces and have to put himself back together again). While in dragon form, he completely loses any objective, now totally focused on causing destruction.

Bertie is clumsy to the point where he can accidentally destroy whole buildings. He gets hurt a lot and into a lot of trouble! He often stumbles and makes very bad decisions. Also, as he is a horse, he is easily startled, leading to more
Fragile bones
Pegasus bones are hollow to allow them to fly, however this also means he's physically weak and his bones are easily broken, especially his long horse legs.
Poor agility
Those long horse legs coupled with his clumsiness means he's very bad at manoeuvring himself around obstacles. He's even worse at manoeuvring while flying as he has trouble making sharp turns.
Low lung capacity
While he is clean in his regular form, his habit of smoking cigars in dragon form means he has problems holding enough air in. This causes problems with exerting himself (e.g. running or climbing) and holding his breath.

Likes: Apples, tea, mint, "the ladies", exploring (especially ancient tombs)
Disslikes: Turning into a dragon, feeling left out, feeling that he's not being respected/listened to

Notes/other
In his dragon form he still has a bellybutton because he was born a mammal.
When transforming, his eyes and teeth are the first things to change. Sometimes if he's acting mischievous he will begin to change, but won't fully transform, and as such only his eyes and teeth will change. This can often be a warning sign that a transformation is about to occur!
Creeper dragons are an open species! They're more like actual komodo dragons than mythical dragons but still breathe fire and have some strange abilities lol.
