Description
Definitive (?) version of one of my previous works, now with a background...actually, this is my very first colored landscape! XDAs I already said, I'd love to become a fantasy and sci-fi illustrator, so I'm experimenting a lot in every single moment of my spare time.
This creature is an hybrid insect-plant from one of the maaany stories that roll in my head (and that sometimes hit one of my neurons, pushing me to concretize them - citation needed) and the scenery has its motivation.
For every question, curiosity, advice and so on, don't esitate asking me!

I would watch you if I wasn't already watching. This creature is amazing, the way you put a plant and a insect together makes everything more interesting in this drawing. I was thinking about creating a character that is a plant but his behavior is like an animal's behavior, so your art was something important to see before my creation.
Another comment I would like to do, more like an advice, but I don't know if its correct or not, just something that I think:
Try to avoid finishing a part of the character and the background at the same point, like the character's fang ends in the same point of a fence in the wall, it makes this part a little bit strange when you look for it, like a very straight part in the drawing, I don't know, just something I avoid to do and I think that would make your work even better^^

I also appreciate, and agree with, your note: I usually avoid this "double-ending" thing (as you've said, it makes the particular spot strange at looking, too much constructed), but to be honest in this case I hadn't noticed it until now. Maybe it's because this piece is one of my first digital artwork and I ended up being too focused on the color side XD
