SoooI worked three months on this thing. All friggin summer for AP Studio.
The book was originally about the history of candy, but you can't tell at all by this point.
It's about 70 pages thick, all were draw/painted on, glued together, taken out, cut up, or generally fucked in some way, shape or form.
Here are just a few pages I took pictures of (bad pictures, sorry). I didn't feel like putting more up cause this thing would be like 20 miles long lol [Maybe later, in a different deviation]

Yeahhh! It takes a long time too, but it's really fun n__n
and if you run out of time, you can always cut a page out or glue them together hahaha.

I sooooo can't wait to do this now! D: mine's not going to look anything like yours though...I'm thinking lots of metal gears (no idea where I'll find those short of taking apart a few clocks but oh well, I'll figure it out)and pulverized glass dust on the cover, and weird black ink "tribal"-y looking wing designs and like very detailed drawings of crows and foxes and snakes and dragonflies and shit inside :3

You can definitely find gears at Michael's. They have clock parts big and small, so go for eeeeet!
I'm not really looking forward to making a number 2, but I think I might cheat and gesso some pages and just do a lot of secret comartments...that would save SO much time.
