AH I'm sorry if you ended up at this page because I said it wouldn't redirect and the image did anyway... Tumblr made a giant liar of me... !!!!Art based on and created for "Destroyed" by That'sNotMe as a part of the 2012 Mass Effect Big Bang.

Thanks so much to Casey for producing such a bittersweet yet beautiful work of fiction!! Unfortunately I didn't get to finish my project and missed the opportunity to illustrate some other moments from the fic, but hopefully when I get more time I can post them here.
Work is done mostly with Photoshop CS5, with some use of custom PS brushes courtesy of Basstar and Z-designs. Reference material found in Mass Effect screencaps (not my own screencaps, I am sorry I did not properly keep a list of sources) and character sheets uploaded to DA by Troodon80 .
Characters belong to Bioware.

This picture, along with Casey's fanfiction, is nothing short of a work of art. I probably would have accepted the endings, as ridiculous as they were, if they had this much heartfelt emotion behind them after the initial decision was made.
It goes to show what people are capable of when they are passionate about something, even if it is the story from a video game. Bravo!

My goodness I cannot get over the despair on Shepard's face, she just seems to have given up on herself. Although it is understandable since she has gotten so used to pushing her body beyond its limits so seeing that its gained unsurmountable ones, it must be killing her.
Good thing Garrus is her rock and will never give up on her let alone allow her to give up on herself.
Gorgeous coloring, I really enjoy the subtle contrasts and ambiance in this image.
