Description

Small pants were all that could be heard as three shadows shifted through the icy forest. Plums of hot breath trailed from their mouths with each breath as the trio kept up a steady pace, in the group were two females and a significantly smaller male but the differing sizes posed no challenge but rather a strength. With his slimmer form the male, Sava, weaved more efficiently through the foliage and set the pace as the group closed in and flushed a pair of elderly Caribou from the protection of the trees. Despite their age, the two hooved beasts moved quickly, barreling past branches and fallen trees effortlessly, they made

no attempt to cover their sound it was already too late, the only thing on the beasts' minds now was escaping. Had a less experienced group been sent, the two elders may have gotten away, but the trio behind them now was right on their heels, and as the two were flushed from the protective forests their fates were sealed. Morrigan, the smaller of the females, pulled ahead dissuading the elderly caribou from running to the left, the larger female, Whisper, followed suit and ran up alongside the pair's right giving them no choice but to head forward directly towards a dead end. Savasha pulled up the rear and snapped at the elderly females haunches, assuring they kept up the pace and tired themselves out. Whether they stopped from exhaustion or ran directly into the trio's trap, the couple's fate was clear as the three tokota closed in for the kill.
