These pictures are from a hike I went on today with Chris and Will at Uvas Canyon. I have been there one time before, but I didn't have my camera on me at the time! I could have killed myself, there are ladybugs EVERYWHERE on the trail in some spots. They are all clumped together on branches, railings, leaves, it is crazy! So, this time, we went back, and I brought my camera
A truly beautiful trail. There are waterfalls everywhere as well, and it isn't very well known, which is nice.

Oh my, yes you did experience almost the exact thing! That is so weird! The ones I saw were also clustered on the railings, as well as the leaves and plants in the area. Hmm, if you find out the reasoning, would you mind letting me know too? It is also interesting that you were at Muir Woods, that's not terrible far from where I found them.Interesting. I wonder if this happens commonly outside of California as well?

that might not be lady bugs :S there's a kind of bug that looks like them and go around in large swarms and they eat tree leaves. anyway, if they are, i feel like it's not so cute anymore cuz a whole bunch of them looks creepy ^^"
