Well you're wrong. Dead wrong. I love my Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland. I love it good. And dammit, the revamped Attic looks cool. So here's an homage to the new psychotic Bride in there.
Because before it was just depressing. Now it's crazy. Everyone loves and needs more crazy.

That is probably one of my favorite changes in the ride. I still remember the old bride and how stiff, boring and overall unnoticeable it was. They really gave that scene the love it truly deserved and so did you with this drawing. Good job.

You know what's hillariously funny, according to Wikipedia...which I hope is correct...The voice of the new bride, Constance, is done by Kathryn Cressida, who apparently was the voice of Dee Dee, on "Dexter's Labratory". Once more the face of the bride is supposidly Julia Lee, an actress who guest stared on "BTSV" and "Angel". Just a funny tidbit, that may or may not be true...

I hate the new bride also and I agree that we have to learn and accept the changes Disney makes but the reason I hate the new bride is because it totally changes the storyline of the mansion. Master Gracey hung himself because his bride was found locked in a trunk in the attic where she suffocated from playing a game of hide and seek, she didn't chop people's heads off (sorry

there's this one dA person here who's come up with a real good story for Constance... they wrote out there beleifs on a picture called Haunted Mansion Sketch Cards by Jessasketch and its really good. it makes more sense.waaaaaaaay more sense

she didn't die, Leota locked her in the coffin she hid in after she had already killed another wife via hypnotism (she told her to walk a tightrope then jump to her death), her ghost then told him to marry Emily, the couple played hide and seek then Leota locked her in the coffin, then when he found out he tried to escape but she did some sort of magic to stop it all then he hung himself and she tried to trap him in her crystal ball but it backfired as he died and she became the head in the crystal ball. I got this info and reworded it from here: [link] I beleive yer right about how the new bride idea is horrifying but i sorta like it. its kind of a role reversal on corpse bride.

Well yes, that is true, and it is more haunting and beautiful that way, but it would also be interesting to know that she passed on waiting for him on the other side, if you will, and he's waiting for her on earth as a ghost. It's more tragic and the mystery lies in the unknown. Constance is just brutal and there needs to be more violence all in all.
I still want them to bring back the REAL mermaids.

Her name is Constance. Isn't that creepy? In my head, I've made up that she's Master Gracey's daughter. And if you look at the man in the last portrait (right by the Constance figure), the man in the picture's name is George, and he looks just like the tombstone in the stretching gallery (the the old lady is sitting on). As you may recall, the bust on the tombstone has an axe burried in its head, and the tombstone itself reads something along the lines of "Rest in peace, beloved George."
There's that name again. :creepy grin:

My friend was PISSED about the change. She grew up with the old bride, and she just got so MAD about the new bride.
Now, I couldn't care LESS what Disney does, because I've only been to Disneyland once, and rode the HM once. I don't really care that much if they change it, but the new bride does look cool.

I love this soooo much! I love the bride. It was awesome. The Haunted Mansion is on my top 3 of rides. But i have this curse. When ever i go on it..it breaks down, or hasta stop, or pause. But still I love this ride. The revamp was wonderful. I love the bride. You did a wonderful job.

NO! Disneyland is much MUCH better because it's the original. And DisneyWOOORRRRLD has the Magic Kingdom which is a ripoff of Disneyland and then all its other little "kingdoms" like Animal Kingdom and MGM Studios and STUFF.
Okay they were cool, but still. Disneyland is teh cool.
