Description This was a project of mine from high school. Pretty old, but I still love it. Took me forever too, all those spots...
I never got around to painting the pupils in the eyes, I was afraid I'd mess up and he'd end up cross-eyed or something. Still looks neat though.

He is made out of a cardboard tube, masking tape, and paper mache.

awesome, i'm trying to do some paper-mache sculpture but i have a doubt and i don't know how do people do the structure. Is all done with new'spaper and glue, or have you used some base (like balloon, bottle...)? And how can I achieve that it finally be strong? i hope you can help me.

If I remember correctly, I think there is a cardboard paper towel tube underneath all that paper, but I'm not sure.  What I do remember is that the whole thing was made of newspaper, masking tape, and the classic glue mixture.  The sculpture itself is lightweight, and so not very strong.  It is mostly a narrow pyramid shape with only a few other parts sticking away from the main body.
