Description
Here is my foil jaguar (yes! he's all aluminium foil!). He is pretty. I love his many spots, rosettes, and shiny eyes. Enjoy.Related content

Glue, actually. But I'm trying different things, like texture paint and smoothed bits of tinfoil. Gesso is next on my list. I'm wondering if its thick enough to do the job.

How about trying Plaster of Paris? That would be good.

Maybe. It might be too thick, though, since my sculptures are so small. I'll work my way through and see what stuff works.

DickBlick art supplies has this liquid plaster mix that would be light enough in viscosity to cover smaller objects. They have a website: [link] Check it out!

Thanks, I think using metallic paint worked rather well.

Beautifull work..
your alu foil technique is awesome considering what you are able to do with that simple material

That is so amazingly cool. I've never thought of using aluminum foil to sculpt... but then again sculpting has never been my forte, at least, not with any medium other than clay. I've thought about working with sculptee though, seeing as I don't have access to a kiln.
Anyway, before I go on a huge ramble, this is really great. It must have taken forever! I admire your talent.
