I'm just saying the current version of the Pony Creator could be more show-accurate in terms of lines, curves, and shapes, especially of the face.

I have heard that she's making an updated version. She posted a journal entry with new things coming up, which is here [link]
I've heard that she's adding new manes, closer to the show posing and neck accessories. She's also making it a app.

I think she's previously stated that it's in it's final form and she doesn't intend to make any changes to it. It's a pretty sweet tool given that she made it and shared it for free. It just has some limitations.

I made my first OC (and a few more) with this, but now I was trying to get the stroke outlines when I do commissions on reference that don't have it like the show style. I think it's been helpful a bit, but not too sure.

I would not suggest making OCs with this. You can clearly see how poorly the colors came out on the PC Fluttershy, and the same will be true of OCs. Also, their hairstyles would not be unique.

well I had altered the mane on my OC just slightly, but that was about it. Besides, I mainly write stories so it's focused on his personality and such than his look.

I did use the Pony Creator as a base for my character, but I changed how he looked dramatically like the mane, wings, body and cutie mark size.
