Chapter 22 of Werewolf Tale IIFor the moment, this is the version of this chapter that I'm most satisfied with. Alex may yet have a chance to ask what happened with Shane and Angela, though I'm leaning heavily towards leaving that out completely. Seen too many writers ruin the suspense of something by revealing everything about it.
What I may bring up instead soon is a little something related to Shane that may or may not let Alex empathize with him on something.
Until then, enjoy the new chapter. My next NaNoWriMo submission should go up later today.

Wondering why, if he'll change early in the morning he doesn't just head over to Shane's early and avoid the canines, eat sooner etc?
Also looked back n couldnt find a good description of Shane's dad.

For a few reasons. The main being he's very uncomfortable around Shane and his family, which they've seen and likely don't want to agitate by asking him to spend all of his 36 hours with them. Another is, as Shane's father mentioned a few chapters back, it's not possible to preempt the hunger. It has to be dealt with when it surfaces, and the longer it lasts, the more they will need.
I'll have to add a description of Shane's parents in when the second draft gets started. Probably somewhere in Chapter 18. Doing it after this would feel out of place.

Interesting. I was under the impression he would be hungry directly after changing...
Definitely running a risk w/the sun most likely rising in under 2hrs after his scheduled change but that's what will make it exciting I guess.

He will be; the hunger he's worried about doesn't come until many hours later, long after he shifts. By then, he'll have several hours of night to take advantage of.
Plus, Shane's skilled at sneaking around at night, so he should be fine.

Do you have a name for Werewolf Tale 2? If not here's a suggestion, something like Werewolf Tale 2: Shane's Plead. I wouldn't suggest using my title but if you want go ahead. I just thought of it off the top of my head anyway. 😂😂

Never saw the need for one, honestly. A simple stylized II placed behind the original logo would do just fine.
