i spent way too long on that background lol. BUT i think it's the best background I've made in a while and I'm seriously proud of it!
I really fell in love with this gorgeous horse, and I think eli did too LOL

Entry for the Autumn Auction + Clinic Event hosted by Canadian-Donstrupper
Bid for S127 Tarte aux Pommes (preferred)
Ridden by Eli Connor as an Endurance prospect

This striking stallion immediately caught Eli's attention out of all the horses at the auction event. He and the other staff at the stable had been looking to get a Donstrupper for a while now, and this event was perfect for it. It was a relatively short journey from Alberta to Mercury Stables compared to some of the other events Eli had travelled to, and he couldn't pass up the chance to attend, alongside Lee. The other horses looked impressive, of course, with other riders testing them out around the arena, but Eli was drawn to the red stallion.

Pie was looking rather bored when Eli approached the handsome red horse. He let the stallion get used to him a little before climbing into the saddle, and Eli gave Pie's neck a pat before they set off around the arena. Eli tested the stallion's gait and pace around the arena before eventually moving off to the endurance course to really see what Pie was made of, and hopefully motivate the strong young horse along the way. He could see that Pie definitely had potential.
