I live in a place usually that does not have much worth photographing. So whenever I go somewhere that is absolutely beatiful, I jump at a chance to get a shot like this.

Location: Jasper National Park, Canada, Rocky Mountain Range

Lac Beauvert is a glacier fed lake from the Athabasca (meaning where there are plants one after another in Wood Cree). There is no visible river or stream filling this gorgeous lake, rather it is fed by an underwater river year around. The water is crystal clear, allowing viewers to examine the various rocks that lie under the water. As it grows deeper, the water deepens into a deep aqua blue. Elk and deer graze at its edge year around, and loons are some of the common water fowl seen floating on the surface. The lake is full of various species of trout and pike. Be wary of mosquitoes as they love to hang around the water's edge.
