Description
Some friends and I are going to go to the midnight party for the release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". I wanted Gryffindor badge, but as I looked on the internet, I decided I wasn't a big fan of the badges there (no offense to their creators!)So I designed my own -- and everything symbolizes something:
* The Lion symbolizes dauntless courage and is representative
of Gryffindor House
* The horizontal bar (a.k.a. military belt or girdle of honour) represents
readiness to serve the public
* The vertical bar signifies military strength
* The sword (Godric Gryffindor's sword) represents justice and/or military honour
* The anvil symbolizes honour
* The phoenix signifies resurrection
* The scales symbolize justice
