Sad to say, the subject of this photo is very uninteresting. It's very unclear what your purpose for this photo is, and I'm a firm believer that photography should speak for itself for the most part, or at least invoke some sort of emotion. Otherwise, professional photography would have nothing over random amateurs with a camera who point and click at everything remotely pretty or anything "poignant."
Subject aside, there is good contrast (though it serves no point) and the sky is a very pretty colour, and the clouds look interesting. There's not really much to do to improve this photo, besides using a totally different subject.
