Perfect body he has.....*ahem* nice lighting, but the blur effect is a bit painful for the eyes. Then again, my friend said it adds dimension and interest to the picture, so i guess it depends on the eye of the beholder

the blurred effectreally adds, it draws your eyes to specific portions of his [aweeesome] body, and it adds alot of depth and interest to what could have been a boring photo. wonderful job ^^

Outstanding image! The textures, both in the figure and on the wall add beautiful dimension when combined with the depth of field. Excellent subject as well. His bone structure and muculature are complemented wonderfully by the lighting.
Bravo!

Oh! Outstanding image.
Never in my life could I ever achieve such a low BFI like this guy.

Chris-Tedlock [2007-01-04 05:05:57 +0000 UTC]
That is what you call an extremely shallow and tight depth of field. Just a few inches one way or another is enough to blur the subject.
Am I right sim4nee? Or is it an FX?

sim4nee In reply to Chris-Tedlock [2007-01-04 05:18:35 +0000 UTC]
nope, I used a tilt/shift lens, that's where the blur from. Thanks for dropping by.

Wow! I've never seen a tilt/shift lens used in this fashion. Very creative!!
