That's kind of how I feel girls can be tough too! My name's Alina, and i feel like this a lot; you boys need to shut up about being so manly because i'm more of a guy than most of you!

Oh wow I love this! At a glance I figured it was just another topless chick just in some sort of fighting stance, but at a closer look you actually tossed in the sweat and marks all over her face! It's great!!

=\ Why can't more stuff like this show up in the popular section!?

Love the simplicity. Absolutely gorgeous effect here. Two questions though, is the window to frame left, frame right or behind the model? I read the description below and became confused! Also, how did you get the moisture on her skin to bead so perfectly? You didn't really make her sweat did you? Great stuff, wish I was close enough to go to your next workshop!

Window is the same as [link] but a black board is used as background and also to create "cheap' strip light at the side.

I think simplicity is under-rated, frequently!

Not really "teach" like a workshop, just showing the pic I did and explain to my "friends" how I did it.

Hum... The thing is that you have 2 light sources there! That or u also used a reflector! Because you have light in her chest from left and you have light in her back from the right... =\

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

sim4nee In reply to EaRtH-InVaSiOn [2007-09-03 21:14:01 +0000 UTC]

Oh and a reflector. Regarding the 2 light source it's actually just 1 big window behind the model, how to make it look like 2? This is where the black card board come in.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

EaRtH-InVaSiOn In reply to sim4nee [2007-09-03 23:45:09 +0000 UTC]

Hum... Very well very well!!! So it means you had 2 windows an 2 reflectors right? (considering a blag card as a "reflector").
Would you be so kind to teach me a little bit and tell me where u put the reflectors? I'm quite curious about it.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

sim4nee In reply to EaRtH-InVaSiOn [2007-09-04 03:02:17 +0000 UTC]

Very simple, put black board right in the middle of the window, but not cover the whole window, just enough to lit up the the model, for this case window light become the rim light(like 2 small windows at the side), and a reflector in front, beside, on top or bottom of the camera, wherever to light up the face a bit. Hope this will help.
