It's quite alright. It's just that I wrote the story to make Alvin's terrible ways finally catch up with him. It is a turning point in his life. I think ravenchild has the main illustration for the story; it's rather heartwrenching.

I think what got to people was the fact that it took Brittany's coma and near death experiance to make Alvin realize the error of his ways. That is what it takes some people to learn. Sadly, some people don't even learn then. Alvin has always been a manipulator.

Heh-heh...reminds me of the episode, "Experiment in Error" where Brittany asks him to take her to a dance where there are celebrities and he's like, "No, I'm not taking you b/c there are going to be a lot of pretty girls there and I'M going to be available. So there, get over it!" XD
She actually does ask him while he is playing basketball too, and that is EXACTLY the look that was on his face.

That episode tickled me so much! "Alvin! Guess what? I'm gonna make you take me to the Black-and-white ball!" Oh yeah, Brittany's just oh-so-subtle!
But that howling she did cracked me up!

I also like the Spelling Test scene where every word the teacher cries out makes Alvin feel guilty...and Brittany's yowling doesn't help either!
Still, Alvin pwned her in the end!
