Description
I drew this little robot on the back of a post card a while ago and thought he looked so cool that i had to do something with him. I cut him out and sat him on my desk. As I pursued various other projects, he watched over...waiting for his time to shine lol...this was about 3 months ago. This was finished in a bit of a rush (I was using it for an interview I had the next day to get into uni). I started without a concept, I just wanted the robot to be accompanied by more things that had been cut out. Once the squares came and I started playing around with their placement, the idea of what it would all say simply cultivated itself. It was about being imaginative and original - a tornado of ideas and imagination coming out of his head, in contrast to the plain, orderly squares he resided in or was expected to adhere to (as a robot of course).
Hope you like it

I may have already commented on this but i stumbled across it and man you should really get your stuff in a gallery, this is such a statement. THis is brillant and it needs to be seen by the public. Plus the lil guy is adorable. This should be the poster for a movie about a robot living in an over industrialized world run by robots, that thinks outside the box and is the only robot with a creative mind or something... basically i'm just trying to say this is inspiring.

Hah, did you know that you have two pieces that is on the first page of "most popular of all time" filtered by traditional psychedelic This is one of them and the other is The Sounds of Escapism.

No I didn't, that's thoroughly cool. Lol. Although really it just says there isnt enough in the traditional-psychedelic category. I am nowhere near even the last of the "most popular" general traditional artworks.

I think in general most go for the surreal category, I believe it is more known than Psychedelic.

Yeah it's a process where the work seems to come through on its own, but can involve a long time of nothing happening haha. Thanks very much

Pretty wild work here ami. Shows that even the smallest of organisms can have the most wildest thoughts, if given of chance.
