I always did want to try drawing Link and Zelda ^w^Link holds the triforce of Courage...
Zelda holds the triforce of Wisdom...
Ganondorf has been defeated. The battle is over as Link has once again managed to save Hyrule and Princess Zelda. But even as they stand framed in the sunlight together, both know...their two bloodlines can never mix. No matter how much they wish to together, their dream will never come to pass....
That's...kinda sad... *sniffles*

Because their futures are not linked in that way. Their souls were basically cursed to forever wander apart. Have you played Skyward Sword? It tells you! It's so sad! Then the manga just confirms it. Zelda will forever be by Link's side, but they will never be together.
I'm one of those people who just can't see them as a couple because I way too into the story line.

Thank you <3 It's not as great as it could have been. I think that one was one of my older ones done using a mouse rather than a tablet.
Think about it. Zelda possesses the triforce of wisdom, and Link has the one of courage. What will happen if they mix? I imagine the legend would end...there would be no separate hero and princess anymore (if they have a kid that is, and I imagine if they did, they would possibly only have one because in every game, Link and Zelda themselves are the only child of their families). And if one person has both the triforce of wisdom and power, then they would make a perfect target for evil like Ganon. Or maybe they wouldn't have either or perhaps they would have just one. What if the child does become the new hero of Hyrule and what if he fails in his/her quest to save the land (cause there are a few timelines I believe when Link does not manage to save Hyrule)? That would surely be the end for the legacy. Besides, if you follow the games, you will see, though the two always get close, they never really get together. That was my inspiration for that picture. The closest they got to being together was holding hands at the end of Spirit Tracks.
It is very sad...cause you can see they do care greatly for one another.

Oh, now it makes sense. True, if that happens many possible catastrophes can happen. But it rules out Zelink as a pairing too, even if they did like each other.

I'm just one of those people who wants to stick to the story line and never have the legend end cause I just love it so much! It's so deep! I cried when I read that exclusive zelda manga chapter in the back of Hyrule Historia TwT It just reveals how truly deep this story is.

You don't know what Kingdom Hearts is about? o.o
It's amazing! You play as Sora and you go through these worlds, all based off Disney movies with final fantasy characters as well as the good old Disney ones, with Donald Duck and Goofy helping you out, and you try to find your friends who have all been lost, scattered across the worlds after evil destroyed your own home world. Riku, your best friend, has been taken over by the darkness, willingly giving in to it, and Kiari lost her heart and has been taken.
Kingdom Hearts II is far superior to the first one, but you should play the first one to better understand the second because they're all connected in a timeline. Of course, you can also choose to play "Kingdom Hearts; Birth by Sleep" before all the other games because it's technically the very very first game, but it came out only after the others.

Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II are for the PS2.
The others are for the ds and the Birth by Sleep one is for the PSP.
And yes, I love the story line <3
