Writing proper description now~

I hear a lot of complaints about CGI animation, and I must say-- why the discrimination? CGI has just the amount of potential as any medium, animated or otherwise. Yet, I see the most complaints about this one.

"Why can't we go back to 2D?"

Well, 2D is nice, and it IS still done. Japanese animation is still for the most part 2D, cartoons are 2D, American animated films are 2D every now and then. Animation is developing, and yet people are complaining, which I think is silly.

Ratatouille belongs to PIXAR
Tangled belongs to DISNEY
How to train your dragon belongs to DREAMWORKS
Despicable me belongs to ILLUMINATION ENTERTAINMENT

Yep, just like any other medium, you can do great things with it.

They're just worried that CG-I will completely take over, however books are still around so I don't think so, some things are timeless and I believe 2-D animation is here to stay and will get along just fine with its younger brother 3-D. X3

Yeah, I mean, My dog tulip, Secret of Kells, and The illusionist were all released last year, and those are all 2D

And Princess and the Frog is definitely living up to its older 2-D Disney predecessors.

I would say it really depends on how well the CGI style goes with a story.. But same with anything, if the style doesn't fit the story being told it gets awkward.

But I made this because people complain about the medium in general
