Yeah, I can see that. At first I just saw the kind sweet smirk but when I look now I see there's even a bit of uncertainty like maybe she's sarcastically contemplating something, if that makes sense?

Surely makes sense. People have so many different sides in one character, a part of this is visible in their faces, and what we see then is our own interpretation of reality. I am a member of drawing class and it's very interesting to see how different artist draw one and the same face.
