It's still more than almost any of the other predators in Felarya would do. It doesn't mean much, but it's still better than saying "Hey, free lunch!" and nomming down. I can't imagine Elli or Crisis or almost any of the other predators doing more than shrug and then have lunch.

To be fair to those others it's only out of a misplaced sense of racial loyalty that Tarynn didn't eat the little elf immediately! She takes whatever food she can get, she is clinging to survival by her fingertips after all
