Oooouuuuccch! Even cartoonish, that one reallly looked painful, gah XD! Evil squirrel! Truly the most terrible of creatures in Felarya to bring such ruin about...coupled with Tarynn's luck, that is one hell of a painful combination. Still, love the mostly quick thinking and ever expressive faces Tarynn is pulling between the dodge and...end result XD.

Those squirrels are clearly the deadliest, as seen here. Nice sense of motion in this one as well, along with the usual top-quality expressiveness from the characters. I wonder how Arcis is doing after that whack though . . . (Tarynn is obviously fine, she's used to it

Lmao I knew that squirrel was trouble the moment I laid eyes on him. I did a double take when I saw that fluid dodge Tarynn pulled. I was like "Huh?? She dodged it?? How in Mennyssan's great gut did she- Oh there we go." XD

Tarynn does have quick reflexes but not always clear head to think things through. And now she certainly doesn't have a clear head after this!

This, very "action oriented" strip, is a bit of a departure from the story oriented prior ones, and you've pulled it off well. Her expressions are top-notch, from the moment she sees the log coming at her, to dodging out of the way (great perspective btw, her oversized right hand makes her really pop out on that one,) to the pose and expression on the second to the last panel, which really give the feeling that she is trying to catch her breath.
My only critiques are that my first impression of the arrow on the second to the last panel was that it indicated rotation, not swinging, and I missed what happened to Arcis in the last two panels. (Yes she is small, I know! But I have the feeling that she will somehow escape unscathed, much as she deserves otherwise.)

You are very salient in both those points; in hindsight I really should have done a bidirectional arrow, and... I will admit I completely forgot to draw Arcis there (may have be subconscious blocking on my part as I've been struggling with drawing them both in the same frame a lot.) But I will try and focus more on these sort of details in the future

Haha well I always try to portray Tarynn as unlucky, not clumsy - she does actually have some sharp reflexes, she just can't always follow through on them!
