This conversation between Tarynn & Arcis continues to be just fascinating! Was not expecting this sort of philosophical detour, but it's wonderfully compelling to follow them through this. And while the final panels do seem like an obvious setup for Tarynn being 'Arcised' (yeah, that's a word now), I'm still curious what exactly she means. Most of the stuff she was saying up to there sounded pretty universally applicable, so how the heck is Tarynn supposed to be an exception?
And of course, the art itself is gorgeous. Incredibly expressive, and the lighting look really nice to me as well, with the partial shadows on Tarynn's face.

...I feel like Tarynn here- I just don't know what to say haha. Most (if not all characters) rather live life by the day as is, so the whole thinking on the end is just something abstract to a lot of them...and even then, given the nature of Felarya and how long (or suddenly tragically short) it can be, it's a nearly impossible thing to think on. Poor Tarynn though through all this haha...that look of being shaken in her eyes is really coming across strongly and how this line of thinking reflects in her...it's clear she was asking this largely out of her own thoughts too I feel and...Arcis, you're not helping her here with that end quip XD.

Hmmm... going from massively cynical to vaguely philosophical... are we still allowed to sue for tonal whiplash? Regardless, I actually find this an interesting philosophy.
Love the posing and especially the lighting on this as well, especially some of the edge lighting effects like in the first panel really give it a dramatic look
