once again, inspired by my brilliantly epic goldfish, the biggest of which is now over a foot long
helped along by the musical stylings of Entheogenic, Slipknot (grey chapter is awesome) and OK GO.
Yes, i know... i said Slipknot and OKGO in the same sentence. well, this is what you get of this kind of thing
I'm not sure if this is more surreal or fantasy... but since they are obviously breathing fine underwater, im goin with surreal
drawn using pigment ink fineliners, biro, HB pencil, prismacolors, blender pencils and lyra youngster chunky coloured pencils on A4 heavy-duty card. took well over 100 hours in total.

it might look cool, but it was the devil to get coloured in! seems like most of my time drawing these days is spent colouring, which i hate... but i guess im learning as i go, and it will get easier over time

Fantastic work. I have the feelings that the details get more numerous with each drawing, coloring is beautiful, the vibrant colors and shading... My eyes are melting. I like how you outlined the drawing and created a border, instead of just filling the paper to it's edge.

wow, thanks! i agree the details seem to get more intricate... definately my work looks a lot more professional now than it did two years ago... but with that intricacy of course comes more and more hours hunched over a drawing pad... its the price we pay for doing what we love
