Description Welp, this took waaay longer than I had anticipated, but dang does it look good!

This is what my art looks like when I don't slack off at all! Remember this, because it doesn't happen a lot! XD

I actually had a fun time doing this the past few days, even if it was frustrating at times. It took quite a few tries to get him to look like an actual Bionicle character and not an overly-caffeinated muppet. But yeah, for the most part, I enjoyed myself.

Secret Santa Art Trade for at the Bumbleking forums. Enjoy! Happy New Year!

Like, right at the beginning, when they weren't explained at all and we still thought we were clever for actually noticing the canisters were shaped like the real canisters in the first place. They never outright said it, but "fell from the sky" I always took to mean "you are God". And then they added more story to it, and then more story, and then more story. Aaaaand that's when I stopped caring.

And before looking at the wiki to work on Vezon, the only stuff I knew was based on the one movie I watched probably five or six years ago and my foggy recollection of the commercials. So it's probably not accurate. XD

I'm guessing you never read the comics, then. That's a shame.

...well, this discussion is pretty much dead. Should we continue to beat a dead Kikinalo, find a new topic of conversation, or adjourn this meeting?

Nah, nothing except the crap they shoehorned into the middle of the Sonic comics years ago. It was probably nice, but you can never appreciate something that completely interrupts your reading. I do love Stuart Sayger's artwork though. Actually, the original plan for this picture was that I would try to mimic his style as closely as possible. Then I remembered I wasn't God-tier awesome and stuck with the method I was used to.

Hm. New topic? What else are you into?

Why does this have to be all about me? What are you into?

Well, Sonic. (Duh.)

Um, what else? I've been severely lacking in fandoms lately, to be honest. I mostly live on drawing, writing, and flickr stalking. What games do you like to play?

Mostly platformers, like Mario and Sonic. Portal is pretty much a puzzle platformer, so it qualifies under my favorite genre. I've enjoyed the (top-down) RPGs I've played, but it's hard to find family-friendly RPGs and I make it a personal rule to never play anything I wouldn't want my younger sisters to play. My youngest sister has a similar rule: she only wants to play things that she knows I'd be too horrified to play. "But mom! Everyone else lets their kids play M-rated games! Especially the ones with the really cool gore!"

What kind of Flickr accounts do you stalk? Cosplay? Animal pictures? Nature scenes? Explosions? Stephen Merchant shirtless covered in tattoos while wrestling a humpback whale? A humpback whale shirtless covered in tattoos while wrestling Stephen Merchant? Sculptures? Live Nude Robotnik?

I like family-friendly games, generally. There's some M-rated games that I like, but mostly I'm with you on the platformers. You should give Rayman a try, if you haven't. I've loved that series since I was a kid!

I think you're thinking of tumblr. Flickr is just a general photography website, with professional-quality submissions. It's mostly just places, but there's all kinds of subjects on it. I love it, I wish I was a decent photographer.

Pro tip: Take photos of ugly things. If the photos turn out ugly, you have an excuse as to why it's not your fault. And I know what Flickr is; I was being ridiculous for the sake of being ridiculous. You should try it some time. I looked up Bionicle pictures on Flickr, and couldn't finding very many good ones. Too many straight-out pictures of models, not enough artistic angles or mood lighting.

I'm interested in trying out Rayman. Once I get video cables for my Dreamcast, I'm planning on buying Rayman 2. I'm still on-the-fence on Rayman Origins. The rating descriptors include "Suggestive Themes," and I'm trying to oppress my male mind. On the other hand, I hear it's an extremely brilliant sidescroller, and I am rather fond of extremely brilliant sidescrollers.

Some of the fairies are dressed somewhat skimpy, but it's nothing hugely offensive, at least to me. You can google it pretty easily and decide for yourself. It's an incredibly fun game, otherwise. Controls beautifully.

I never use Google. DuckDuckGo all the way. Less spam, and they don't have a Big Brother complex. But we weren't talking about Lewanut's paranoia, were we? But now that we are, have you ever suspected that everybody you know online are actually men in their mid-forties?

I suspect half are men in their mid-forties, and the other half are grossly underaged. Most of them talk like trolling 12-year-olds, either way. People my own age? That's a myth.

What do you mean, people your own age are a myth? There are lots of men in their mid-forties on the internet. How gullible do you think I am?
