Description
Standing on the edge of beautiful Lake Beauvert as though poised to defend it from any intruders. Jasper, Alberta, Canada.
Materials used & time spent:
8b and 4b graphite pencils, b and hb .3mm mechanical pencil, a hard charcoal pencil, a kneaded eraser, cotton and tortillons. On letter size paper.
Roughly 13 hours of work.

I think it's great that it's a merge of stylized and well referenced detail. Love its almost Japanese feel to it, but it also has character of its own. Heart is at the bottom right corner.

I've been waiting for this. Yay! It is great! Awesome! I love it. The trees are just stunning. All of them. The mountains are wow! The reflections are great. The only area that's not great is the water between the tree in front and the reflections. I don't know why tho. Anyway, that tree up front is brilliant!! You did as good of a job on this as I was expecting (or hoping).

hahaha, thanks! yeah I totally agree with you about the water, I was just afraid of overcrowding the picture, and taking attention away from the mountains and the tree in the foreground. But I do agree with you. Thanks for the comment. I appreciate the feedback
