It was so beautiful in the park.I was surprised
at the thickness and the different layers. All the
snow melted a few days ago and today we got hit
with a snowstorm and another one coming sunday. The
weatherman is calling it Snowmaggedden

A very white one.I'm running out of
spots to pile the snow when I shovel it.My neighbor
was shoveling some of his on to the road so the
snowplows would take it away but people driving
by were stopping their cars and getting out and
yelling at him.A lot of colorful words were
exchanged.Winter is just starting too

Haha are your winters usually this white? Or do you think it's climate change related? Ours are colder than normal, and we got snow fairly early, but it's settled back to the norm at the moment
I think a huge sign of the differences is that we don't have nor ever had snowplows

They seem to be all over the map.For the longest
time there was tons of white. Then a long period
of little snow but cold.Last year we didn't any
real amounts of snow until February but winter stuck
around until May.This year early winter, lots of snow.
The seasons use to be more regular but now anything
could happen. There never use to be tornadoes in Canada
either but now we get more every year.I don't know if
it's climate change or just the evolution of the planet.
When I lived on the coast there was never snow in winter
until a few years ago. They had no snowplows either but now
they get snow that shuts down the city.

It was beautiful to see, I love how
magical it makes everything look but
I don't like the cold either especially
if it's windy too.Makes it seem colder.

It was like that where I use to live,
lots of rain no snow.I prefer snow to endless
days of rain at least there are things to do
in the snow.

Thats cool, though. I know from experience is that about one out of three times I go walking in the winter, I slip and fall. XD

It was such a beautiful walk. When we started to
get snow here I just had to go to the park and
see how it looked around the lake Not
many people go to the park in the winter so I knew
it would look fairly untouched.

It was, most of the park was untouched
except for a few animal tracks so it
was quite breathtaking.I walk almost
everywhere,since I live in town.It's
good you walk a bit,it must to tougher
with the amount of snow you get, you'd
almost need snowshoes.I just like being
outside so sometimes my walks are short
if it's too cold and windy.

so nice too Sit by the fireplace with my coffee
and watch the weather out the window.

Thanks so much It was fascinating to see how
the layers had formed along the edge.I was curious
to see if it had frozen over yet with the cold.
The lake is frozen over, the only water that wasn't
frozen was where the water is deeper and the current
is faster

It was a little scary. With the snow on the walkway over the
river it made the railing a lot shorter.
