I saw a raven a little while ago,actually I heard the wings before I saw it.When I went out to the road I was stunned to see this huge bird carrying a full bag of garbage from up the road.He wasn't getting much height but he carried that bag about 2 feet off the ground down the middle of the road until he was out of sight.I prayed a truck wouldn't come up the road,there are tall trees on both sides of the road and if he met one on the corner, oooh! Either the bird would have got hit,no way he could have cleared the trees with that bag or the vehicle would have got a windshield full of garbage.I was amazed at the wing span,the strength and determination of this raven.

Nature is strong,it was a sight to see the raven flying off with the garbage

Yes it's real painting,painted in watercolors.Some of my work I scan if it fits and work too big to scan I take photos of to post here and print off to add to my portfolio which I carry with me most of the time

It was hilarious after I got over the shock of seeing it carry that bag of garbage.I always thought they were just a little bigger than crows.I heard the wings before I saw the bird,,the wing span had to be bigger than my outstretched arms.It would be sweet to have that raven take the garbage out.

This is a really beautiful painting, Deb, I love the mist effect, and the detail of the mountain side is amazing. Lovely feather detail too
