Walking along the river last week gave me this idea for a painting.Water is still high!

It is,isn't it
The branch looked cool sticking out of the water and with the water levels still high at the time,that what I thought of.I painted it a little more gnarly than it was to add to the effect of a hand reaching out from the depths.

This would be such a great spooky Halloween picture, then again I don't think I could have waited that long to see it
I have to say though, this is fantastic!!! So, spooky, haunting, yet so, Cool! You is a fabulous job!!

It would be great for Halloween.This is from the end of the road too!The water was so blue and a limb was sticking out of the high water.It was kind of gnarly so I just gave it more twists and the shape of a gnarly arm coming out of the water.Amazing what gives you a visual in your head Thanks so much!

Lovely piece of work! It's such a dark display of the rising waters, it almost looks like a twisted and distorted hand rising out of the water. What a destructive power of nature! It's wonderful!

Thanks so very much. It was cool the branch sticking out of the water,the water was so blue.With all the flooding of the river banks,I just got this visual in my head and had to paint it Nature can be such an awesome force!

Wickedly beautiful. Eerie and yet calming at the same time. The blue is so deep, I think it adds to the calming effect for me. Almost dreamy like.
