I dunno about the rest but I kinda like the idea of Negi following
Evangelines footsteps than Nagi's. Now his looking more like
the Dark Evangeline's apprentice. I use a more redish skin tone
cause it looks cooler compared to using a shadowed tone.
The original pic didn't have the tatoos yet. I added it up cause I
really like it plus it mesh well with the topless look. I didn't
have any plans for this one I was actually just fiddling around
and ended up looking wicked.

Thanks. I'm a huge Negima fan. Like serously huge. There are other pics that I would like colored of Dark Negi too(and the rest of the class). Can you tell me where you got the tutorial for this, or any tips you can give me?
I'm pretty adept at photoshop. Make sigs and backgrounds as a hobby.

I didn't use a tut, I was just fiddling with it and ended up looking pretty wicked. Tips?? well just do lots of it to get used to it. If you check my earliest works its pretty rough compared to now.
It took me sometime and lots of practice to get my colouring style up to my recent works. There tons of tut available on the resource section that you shoould check out on vectors and styles of shading that would help.

Well actually, I doubt you have enough time to teach someone you don't know off the internet something that probably takes you a couple hours to do. Can you at least tell me where you learned how to vector and color from?

I learned by trial and error I'm not very good and following directions. I learned how to do it by experience in doing lots of it and trying new stuff in each piece I do.
Learning how to vector again check the resource section or even the PS adobe help section on vectors.
As for shading just look at others on how they shade theirs and try it out. Eventually, you find your own style and technique.
