My dumb ass thought giving him 6 wings was going to be fun... spoiler, it was not, but at least they came out well!

-Perfection: Michael loves when everything is in its place and working with no hitches and will do anything to keep things like that as long as possible, even if that means kicking one of his pupils out of Heaven.
-Working: there’s no better feeling, according to him, than working and accomplishing as many things as possible every day; not only it is fulfilling, but it also makes you more responsible.
-Teaching: even as a High Seraphim, Michael hasn’t left his place as a teacher for newly formed angels, he enjoys being able to play a major part in their education and see them become great angels because of his lessons.
-A good cup of tea: though Michael doesn’t like human food, he has a weakness for tea; he likes to drink it warm after a long day of work to unwind a bit. He’s a fan of spicy tea and his favorite blend is orange and cinnamon.

-Rupophobia: fear of dirt and rubbish, this isn’t really a problem in Heaven, but when he’s on missions down on Earth he will get very anxious and cover every inch of his body to avoid direct contact with potentially dirty objects. He always carries a bottle of hand sanitizer with him at all times.

Talents: Michael is a powerhouse when it comes to the amount of things he can do, he teaches to Lower angels after all, so he has to be impeccable at everything. But there is ONE thing he cannot do, and that is dealing with children (and child souls), because they don’t listen to rationality, they want to have fun and do all the things that Michael finds stupid, so he really cannot understand them.

-Immortality: In his aetherial form Michael is completely immune to ageing, physical harm or illnesses. In his corporeal form he’s much more vulnerable, but is still unable to die just from old age.
-Light manipulation: Michael can manipulate already existing light, he can change all of its properties (intensity, propagation, direction, frequency and wavelength). This power can also be used to destroy.
-Holy sword: A variation of light manipulation; this is Michael's signature power, he can mold light into a sword capable of destroying any evil. Wounds caused by this sword are permanent and will never heal.
-Angelic kiss: it is said that whoever is kissed by an angel will experience the most blissful feeling possible, a wholesome sensation of happiness that is capable of calming anyone down and purify from sins. If used irresponsibly it will lose its effectiveness.
-Object teleportation: a power granted only to higher ranked angels, it allows him to call for any object he may need and teleport it from Heaven to wherever he is in that moment.

Backstory: 5000 years ago, when human kind was first coming up with writing, Michael was created from one of the most perfect aetherial sparks ever seen. From his first moments of life, it was clear that he was destined for great things.

Not even a month after his birth, he was put to test by the Council, to see just how strong and independent Michael was. He was sent down on Earth with his only orders being that he had to wipe out a group of sinners located in Egypt.

At first he felt completely clueless, but then, while trying to defend himself from an incoming attack, he unlocked his signature power: a great concentration of light in the shape of a sword.
The Angelic Council is shocked by it, and without even giving Michael the time to complete his quest, they pull him back to Heaven immediately.
Since Michael’s signature power is one of the legendary Holy Weapons, he is immediately promoted to the Archangel position. But that won’t be his last promotion as he’ll manage to climb up the hierarchy pretty quickly, reaching the position of Lordship in his first millennium of life and finally reaching the Seraphim rank when he was merely 2000 years old.

Upon reaching that rank, Michael became somewhat of a role model for younger angels. That, combined with his great ambitions, brought him to request a seat in the Council. At first, the Ophanims were against it, but seeing just how many angels wished to have a younger representative in the council, they bitterly accepted his request. However, they would constantly keep an eye on him, hoping to catch even the slightest mistake and often putting the Seraphim to test.
This was source of great stress for Michael, who in response has made it a point to always be perfect, efficient and impeccable to avoid upsetting the council.
This is why mentoring Ezekiel might have been his greatest gamble; tutoring such an insecure angel was not simple at all, especially when Ezekiel developed binge eating problems. But even after all that, Michael still trusts Ezekiel and wants the best for him, which is why he did all he could to avoid punishing him and felt quite responsible when he was ultimately kicked out of Heaven to repent.

Goal:

Becoming head of the angelic council: from the moment Michael was created, he knew what he wanted to do, and that was becoming the most respected angel in Heaven, he has worked non-stop for 5000 years just to achieve that goal and is now very close to that.
