It's only gotten any popularity recently because of the anime. I found out (to my depression) that most people don't even know about the manga. T^T

the animu is great really, decent animation and follows the manga... tho i have a feeling that it'll be sorta short OAO and not go as far as the manga... but I can be wrong XD

It would be good if it does. Although, sometimes an anime can be good even if it deviates from the manga later on, like with Soul Eater (though I wish they would make an alternate ending that follows the manga completely.)
