Description
I think the other version of this I painted had a lot in common with the history I made up for it- I didn't want to take the time or effort to paint this scheme on it so I did a quick black scheme. Well, I got curious and did this scheme, and I think it was worth it.Related content

Excellent, always been curious about what could've been with ALCo.

Nice drawing. And it would have been neat to see what the C636P would have looked like, although if I was a railroad I would have gone with the more reliable C630.

This looks neat, but if you're short on inspiration, I'd recommend modeling what you think Alco would have done in order to compete with the EMD bid for Amtrak locomotives. We all know EMD built the F40ph to fit the passenger-rail niche. . . what would Alco have provided?

Well, they had proposed the C636P to Santa Fe and SP when they were still in business, so I'd imagine that it would in some way draw from that.
