Description
A little coal mine 0-4-0T of the South Penn Mining Co. I decided to do something different with this one, COLOR! Is this the future of my drawings? I don't know, but it's a possibility.Related content

Great drawing! Reminds me a lot of the locomotives used by the Wanamie railroad in Pennsylvania anthracite country to haul mine cars to the breakers.

Thanks! Β I love those engines, though I hadn't seen them when I drew this.

I like how the tanks absorb most of the boiler into it, really interesting look! Also the rust spots are STUNNING!

Looks like an 0-4-0 version of this engine: [link]

They're more fun to draw than tender engines!

Tank engines are nice, but personally, I prefer the tender ones. X3

I don't have a preference, but they seem like they can have more character.

They might. Thomas is one of them. XD And I can understand Β΄cause itΒ΄s mostly tender engines thatΒ΄ve been filmed and drawn most through the century.

I'm with you there! I've planned these in HOn30, On2, On30, 1:20n2, and 1:12n2.

I'm afriad to say that I'm unfamiliar with the last two scales. So you intended this engine to be a 2ft gauge?
It looks like it could be a 3 footer as well

It changed at times, but the main plan was 2' or 30". 1:20.3 is F scale, and O scale track scales to roughly 2 feet, and in 1:12, G scale track is 2 feet. Confusing, isn't it?
