33"x17" @ 450 DPI. Art by Jim Lee, Scott Williams and Alex Sinclair. Just want to let everyone know about a new group that I'm a part of #Comics-Colorist-Club . Come by and visit and check out some great art. This piece was the first of 4 Triptychs that I worked on with Jim and Scott for Trinity. Was tough to work on because I did NOT get all three pieces at once so I ended up having to re-paint parts of each to make them mesh correctly, especially with all the texture on the smoke.All Characters and art β’ & Β© 2009 DC Comics. Thats awesome. I love Jim Lee's artwork and the art in his ICONS book was awesome. I drew some stuff based off of some of his work and put it up on my deviantart acount. Do you have any hints or tips? Thanks. Zach

Thanks. Checked out your drawings. They are good copies of Jim's stuff. I would recommend to pay attention to how he uses the lines and rendering to represent shadows. The lines "work" together to form shadow shapes or help render each muscle or muscle group.

Interesting. Looks like the Justice Trinity (I know that's not the real name) is screwed. Because Superwoman may knock out Batman, Ultraman has Wonder Woman beat, and though it looks like Owlman is losing to Superman, he's not nigh-incapacitated yet. Which means, being as smart and badass as Batman, he can and will still win.
