Description
Flashpoint #5, pgs 24-25. 16" x 10" @450 DPI. Art by Andy Kubert, Sanda Hope and Alex Sinclair. This is it-the moment when it all happens and sets up the whole reboot. The original spread I got looks nothing like this. I spent quite a bit of time moving stuff around, adding and cropping art to get it to this point.This image is available as a 1 of 1 print. Ok, I who the hell is Grifter and why is he so popular? I know he's created by Rob Liefeld and he's another costume ripoff of Deathstroke, but why would DC waste their time with this guy? He pisses me off because there are so many other characters that matter more than him and I want to see more of them, like a proper depiction of Lobo; not the guy in the Deathstroke series, but the real Main Man. They can say that he was too cool to be redone or something.

Grifter was created by Jim Lee and used to be a member of Wildcats. He's one of the most popular characters from the WildStorm Universe. I'm a lobo fan, but haven't read Deathstroke so I can't comment on what he's up to in the new 52.

Lobo's not the last Czarnian, he didn't destroy his world when he was a teenager, and he doesn't have his "Bite me Fanboy!" jacket! I really hate Liefeld.

I know it's been going on more than a year now, but DC needs to undo this with the very guy that screwed with time in the first place. Flash should travel back in time and warn himself before he even sets foot on the tredmill.

He could talk to him, offer sympathy, or give himself a mental picture of what will happen if his mother doesn't die or something like that. I still don't get how Barry's mom being alive caused Clark's rocket to change direction or how she got bruce killed. Maybe it's a web of small things that made a big difference, like her stepping on a bug that was supposed to feed a bird that would cause the mugger that held up the Waynes to walk in a different direction or...My thinky thingy herts!

i am thanks my fav new 52 books are wonder woman and flash reason fr wonder woman it has the Clash of the Titans feel and reason for flash is that barry alien is one of my fav but i am kind of hopeing with captain cold rouges will add in more females most of his team seem to be male

...Remind me again. In this, it was mentioned that three timelines fused to make the DCNU. I know the Wildstorm Universe and the main DC universe fused, but what was the last one?

Awesome piece of work
I recognise most of the characters on this piece, but could you tell me who the heroes are in the top right hand corner? I recognise Supergirl, Hal Jordan, Sinestro, Swamp Thing, and Batgirl, but not the other four. Same in the left hand corner, I recognise Animal Man and Swamp Thing, but that's about it

let's see if I can help. upper right:second row is Shade, Animal Man and GREEN LANTERN Sinestro. third row is Midnighter (Stormwatch), Static Shock and Apollo from SWatch too. Upper Left is Vertigo: Swamp Thing, Constantine, Animal Man and Shade.

Yup. The actual, in-comic moment where the DC universe gets rebooted. And the random hap-hazardness with which it was done shows. Why couldn't they have just done a REAL reboot instead of this slap-job? HALF THE ORIGINAL CONTINUITY STILL APPLIES, DAMMIT! That's not a reboot, that's a...a... I don't know what it is because NOBODY HAS EVER DONE SOMETHING THAT DUMB BEFORE! No wait, someone did. DC, in fact. When they rebooted Wonder Woman completely out of the blue, changing absolutely nothing else at the same time. THAT didn't make any sense either.

What DC did, and has always referred to it as such, is a relaunch. I called it a reboot as an inside joke based on stuff that happened during a Con panel. Vague, I know, but luckily some folks got it.
