I like big robots and I can not lie..Ahem, anyway.. This is Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity, used by the villain Placido in the third season of Yugioh 5Ds. It's actually a combination of separate machine monsters, like the Armor monsters from the original series. There is Wisel Carrier (legs), Wisel Guard (right arm), Wisel Attack (left arm), Wisel Top (the head) and the chestpiece which is the Emperor itself.
The Infinities really hate Synchros too, so that gives them bonuspoints in my book.
Fun-fact: Attack/Carrier/Guard/Top = A,C,G,T = the four DNA nucleotides (Adenine, Cytosine, Guanine, Thymine)

To be honest, I'm no fan of synchros. sure they have great effects but the cost of cleaning your own field. That's why i prefer the machine emperors for one single reason: no cleaning the field, plus they can increase their own power without the use of another card just by "stealing" a synchro for your opponent.

In fact, I was like you, I hated Synchros, but then I realized I can't win much without them. I started using Synchros, and I really like them now.
