Description
We introduced an updated magic system to our camp, and one of the rules describes that every magic user should have his/her own magical focus item. This item can be a staff, a special ring, anything - but of course it can be a magic wand as well!How to make one of these? There are lots of tutorials on the internet about turning chopsticks into wands. We thought that it is a great start, but chopsticks are a little short for my taste, so a handle was added.
Materials used:
- chopstick
- hot glue from glue pistol for the entwining pattern
- aluminium tube from a home depot store for the handle (just pick one you can put the chopstick into), about 10 cm length
- leather strips for the handle
- black paint
- I do not know where the end piece comes from, found it in our storage, I guess its a door knob or something.
The rings attached to it are part of our play system.
