The Northern Lights, 8th October 2011 !Shot in Norway, Bodoe, local Mjelle
The night me and my friend Gaute was going to shoot a Draconid meteor shower ! The auroras was weak when we arrived at the spot the Auroras was weak lines crossing the sky.
We saw some meteors flaming up around on the night sky ! But the auroras activity was exploding, suddenly there where a Corona on top of us, seen here -> [link] !
The lights around us was amazing, strong green and red colours between the columns and lines !
We thinked about shooting some reflections with the small waters behind us, so we took the gear and ran over there !
The Northern lights was so extreme that figuring out a nice setting for the show was changing rapidly within the hour !
I like how this picture came out ! lines and columns fading over the little water that was quiet, no wind, no waves !
Also in the picture it`s evident the movement and activity of the light ! As some parts fade out and others allmost over exposed !

Nydelig bilde av nordlyset, men litt uskarpt i forgrunnen. Det blir ofte slik nΓ₯r en skyter pΓ₯ 2.8. Har du forsΓΈkt Γ₯ gjΓΈre en eksponering hvor du fokuserer pΓ₯ himmelen og en hvor du fokuserer pΓ₯ forgrunnen, for sΓ₯ Γ₯ blende de i photoshop? Da fΓ₯r du dybdeskarphet igjennom hele bildet selv om det er tatt med blender 2.8

Har ikke fΓ₯tt prΓΈvd mΓ¦ pΓ₯ det Γ¦ heller. Leste ganske nylig om en kar som brukte den teknikken. Skal se om Γ¦ ikke fΓ₯r prΓΈvd mΓ¦ pΓ₯ Γ₯ ta noen nordlysbilda i vinter. Har egentlig ikke gjort det fΓΈr.
