The Northern Lights, 8th October 2011 !
Shot in Norway, Bodoe, local Mjelle

The night me and my friend Gaute was going to shoot a Draconid meteor shower ! The auroras was weak when we arrived at the spot the Auroras was weak lines crossing the sky.

We saw some meteors flaming up around on the night sky ! But the auroras activity was exploding, suddenly there where a Corona on top of us, seen here -> [link] !
The lights around us was amazing, strong green and red colours between the columns and lines !

We thinked about shooting some reflections with the small waters behind us, so we took the gear and ran over there !

The Northern lights was so extreme that figuring out a nice setting for the show was changing rapidly within the hour !
I like how this picture came out ! lines and columns fading over the little water that was quiet, no wind, no waves !
Also in the picture it`s evident the movement and activity of the light ! As some parts fade out and others allmost over exposed !
