The first layer, the second step. I stared at the eyes of the peering beasts, this being the first that I was sure had a soul of some sort as it chuckled in mild amusement at my plight. It spoke no actual words, as all beasts of this realm seemed to, but I still understood it clearer than any words I had heard while living.

"I... I don't know."

[i]"Yes. With no answer, you doubt. Not knowing is flawed judgement and lack of self. Do you doubt, child?"[/i]

"Y-yeah..."

[i]"Yes. That is why you're here. Do not forget that."[/i]

Phobe is the first beast to encounter. The picture itself if kinda blah with a quick coloring and a hack of line art. 3 hours is not near enough time to finish any picture through Photoshop, but I was excited about finally getting the software and wanted to post something up so not be just some other faceless ghost that haunts this site.
