Part of my English project, I chose to read Christopher Marlowe's play "The Tragic History of Doctor Faustus". This is my illustration of Scene III. If you want the storyline, go to Wikipedia...they've got everything. It's a really well-written play if you ever get the chance to read it. Anyway, my scanner bed is too small, so half the picture got cut off and it looks really warped. But beggars can't be choosers which saves my ass because my scanner completely screws up my pictures
This picture was originally done in crowquill pen and India ink. Then using dilluted ink, dilluted coffee, and a teeny bit of watercolor, ta-da! you've got a royally fucked-up mess.
