Description
I highly dislike it when I have to rush things, really. It's like cutting corners and it's never a good thing. But in this case... I think I did have to do a few quick rush tricks with this piece. This is what I get when I have too many things in the "in" box and the "out" box looks damningly empty. My sincere apologies.
This piece is completed for an art trade arranged on Feb. 5th, 2011. The subject here is Experimental Subject #130, a.k.a. Bo. She is a character of from a story called "Project 130". Unfortunately, I don't know too much about her background story or what this story is going to be about. But I did try my best to complete this picture as quickly as possible.

The title refers to a specific type of tanks used for meditation, relaxation and alternative medicine. When it was first invented in 1954, it was also known as a sensory deprivation tank (sounds awfully appropriate, given the subject at hand). More on Isolation tanks here: [link]

Thank you very much!
The original artist came up with a really cute idea for Bo. I am glad I was able to do it justice!
Thank you very much for your support!

Hello:
I'm sorry to distress you. I send pictures to the scraps regularly in an effort to clean up space. How pretty it looks actually doesn't factor into my decision. If you wish, I can bring it back.

Your wish is my motivator.
It will be returned back to the "Featured" folder tonight.

Thank you very much!
I used two different photos for the water - I had to manipulate the image a little to get the effect for the water and I have to be honest... I am not fully satisfied with it myself. Perhaps I should try this again in the future...

Ah, I see... In fact I think the effect for the water is rather good already, because I really can't do this!!

I don't know how to paint water very realistically, really.
So I decided to use my other skills and manipulate photos of water to get what I want. I think I can definitely be even better than this. Perhaps one day, I will really learn how to paint water!

Hmm...I don't know how to paint water in a realistic way, either! I don't know how to manipulate photos together in a good way either... But yeah, one day we will learn how to paint water in a good way!!

You're exactly right!
Eventually... we will have to learn how to paint water realistically.
... but before that... maybe I can teach you how to manipulate photos first...

Aah, I think that's where I took most of my liberties (the other place was the glowing dials on the collar.)
It's really wonderful to hear that you liked how the wings came out. That's definitely a confidence-booster!
