i love kurosawa.
rashomon is one of the greatest movies ever.
did you know that the production went over budget
solely because of the construction of the HUGE rashomon gate?
beautiful work man.
if you can paint like that, you should read akutagawa.
he inspires fantastic images in my head that make me
wish i could paint like you.

The upper portion reminds me of the episode of Furikuri (FLCL) where the girl talks about having burned down her school. It is such a bleak silhouette with only minimal detail. Very impressionistic.
